NFL teams experience murder, drugs, rape, but Dolphins lack leadership?

Been preaching that all along. That happens constantly but Cog's mean words are a problem? It's an agenda driven by the media now and we are along for the ride for a minute.

Dolphins lack leadership both at the coaches level and players level. It is obvious , especially at this recent turn of events where a player was constantly harrassed by another player.

It should have never come to this point, and now it's too late...

not sure what is "too late". i might understand, if the locker room was divided. but everyone in the dolphins locker room seems to be on Richie's side...

The media and outside world have sunk their teeth into this specific story for some reason. Once they do that, it is hard for the NFL not to feel pressured to hand out significant penalties.

Big question here and difference, were Kraft and Rooney 100% monitarily liable for the actions of Hernandez and Ben actions? No they werent at all. In this case (if JM wins a hostile work environment suit) Ross is and to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

Aaron Hernandez murders people, Big Ben rapes people, but Dolphins should fire their coach/gm/everyone because of a text message and voicemail by 1 player?

Take a look at the NFL arrest records and tell me who lacks leadership?

The outside media grabbed a hold of this story because of the racial element and the work place harassment.
I don't see them letting go anytime soon either because every day something new is coming out.

The Patriots have the best PR team in the world. They were able to brush Spygate and the Hernandez situation aside with ease.
It amazes me.

deflecting won't help. Miami has had many issues through the years including being one of the leagues leaders in arrested players over the last decade plus. hazing type stuff happens everywhere but unfortunately you got caught like NE got caught spying even though others did ti and like NO got caught w/ the bounties even though others did it.

Hernandez is the lowest of characters, but Belichick and Kraft have a known track record of strong organizational leadership. And of course Super Bowls. They are given the chance to correct a wrong and steered back to reality.

Philbin, Ireland, Ross, Aponte have in their short time demonstrated peculiar ways to stumble over their own feet. The message is never clear, neither is their approach.

Incognito was being who he is. It doesn't make his actions right, but you put him on a leadership counsel and on a stadium PSA, well you get what you asked for. It demonstrates everything that woul lead media and fans to not give Philbin and crew the leeway to right the ship.

This team has to make the playoffs for everyone to keep their jobs. Even then the overture to Ross to sell his team won't stop. Hopefully we get a new owner who's not 80.

Still hard for me to grasp an NFL locker room as a hostile workplace......what they do on the field is hostile.

Interesting...In one situation you have a player who harassed another player on the same team on the coaches orders (allegedly) who was one of the team leaders....

The other situation are players doing things in their private time...if the coaches asked Hernandez to murder or Ben to rape then I guess you could compare the two, but it doesn't look like the case.

He was not asked to harass Martin he was asked to toughen him up....there is a HUGE difference.

Agenda driven dribble.

So somehow the lack of leadership on the Dolphins is to be minimized because of the lack of leadership on other teams? This is unique to the other arrests because of the perceived hostile work environment the Dolphins have. The arrests for drunk driving, battery, etc. represent an idiot committing a crime outside the organization where a team can't have a reasonable expectation of avoiding the crime.

Don't get me wrong I understand the anger on the board but your trying to find excuses to justify the behavior.
