NFP Sunday Blitz-Is Tannehill being pushed up the boards?

If Tannehill is there at #8, I have no problem taking him. If someone moves up to get him, I think we either take Ingram or Floyd or trade down.

There's just no way in hell that Tannehill is worth the 8th overall pick. That is really reaching. Some scouts have said they have Tannehill rated as a 2nd rounder. I don't want the guy unless we get him in a trade down scenario. It would be a waste getting him #8 overall.

You guys make me laugh. Where was Brady ranked in his draft by the "scouts"? No one knows how good or bad he'll be. If we draft him just hope for the best

Okay then, lets spend a 6th round pick on Tannehill like the Pats did for Brady. The fact is, you don't roll the dice and "hope" that Tannehill pans out and burn the 8th overall pick on him. He is simply NOT worth the 8th overall pick. Period. Drafting him could get people fired. Namely Ireland.
 
Like I said, if Landry Jones and Barley were in this draft then Tannehill would be the 5th best QB. Would you draft the 5th best QB with the 8th pick?? Tannehill is NOT worth the 8th overall pick and if we draft him we'll be sorry. Bank on it.

landry jones stock was in the toilet off his awful 2011 season...

i know that i worded that wrong but i didn't care...grammar police are lame

bottom line is miami and buffalo which for some reason you seem to think is in a much better position at qb don't have anything in house that can get us over the hump...difference is we're at least looking to change it...

Yeah, you're looking at exchanging Matt Moore (who played well) for a certain failure (Tannehill). Good luck with det one:lol:
 
Tannehill is better then Landry Jones. Jones is not an elite QB and does not have much velocity or does not throw very good under pressure. Phins would have to lose 14 games to draft Barkley. Good luck with that. All this stuff about wait till next year is typical of losing teams and fans. We will just ose 14 games and draft Barkley next year. Thats sad! Phins are going nowhere with Moore and Gerrard long term. You get your starting QB for the future when you can get them You dont wait for 13 years. Next year will be 14 years and we will have to suck again to get a top QB and GM will be gone if we suck again with no QB sign long term. If we have a losing season next year do you believe Matt Moore or Gerrard will get their contracts extended?

i never said we were making the right decision...but you guys aren't either sitting on fitzpatrick...i can tell ya that...matt moore doesn't take us anywhere either...
