No one has mentioned what the KEY move a GM would make that represents himself

Tannehill is our QB. We will not be drafting one in any of the early rounds.
 
A new GM would want to work with the Coaching Staff to set the tone for the team - what kind of team are we? That gives the GM the direction he needs to go to give the coaching staff the players he needs to make that plan work.

You would have to be blind to not be impressed with Ryan's play at QB this past year. I can't believe Sherman's crappy play calling didn't ruin him.

I have zero doubt Ryan will blossom with a real OC that can call a game and who will actually adjust their game plan during the half time of games.
 
cant never have to many qb's. take a flyer on Murray or Boyd in the 4th or 5th. let them learn for 2 or 3 years. I would take 1 every year.

I wouldn't draft a 1st OL that isn't worthy of the pick. As for Murray and Fales, which are the guys I like, they're not 1st round talent at this point.
 
Trade Tannehill (1st rd pick), Hartline, Miller, get some picks.
 
any GM that agrees to take this job will likely be a ryan tannehill fan. coming on board now, with the 19th pick, thinking "i don't have a QB," is not a good look for a GM.
 
For the last time: no team will trade any type of draft pick for Matt Moore. Seriously here, get real.
 
Um in a word, no. The new GM will build around Tanny.
 
You don't do the #1 stuff. What you do is start drafting a QB every year in the 4th or 5th...always be in "grooming" mode. Eventually, you find a "Foles" or "Brady." You do this EVEN AFTER you find "the guy." You do this as a "philosophy." They didn't do this with Marino, and this was the downfall in Miami.

Oh and by the way, getting an FA to replace Tannehill next year is a really bad idea...really bad. Did I say it was a bad idea...no, it sucks.
