No to Tommy Streeter

Not even CLOSE. Hartline is 10x the WR (in this offense) that Streeter is. Streeter is a speedster who doesn't catch naturally with his hands, doesn't run routes, and can't block downfield. It's not. even. close. Hartline gets separation due to excellent routes and has fantastic hands. Bess is unathletic but cuts incredibly well and while he lacks a 2nd gear he's so quick with his cuts that he is a tremendous slot threat.

We got an amazing value from DA U in the 3rd, so just be happy with that. Not every Miami player is an absolute gem, as crazy as it sounds. Streeter will not be a pro WR for more than 2 years.
There's a reason we're talking about Streeter in 4th and 5th round terms. He's obviously raw and didn't have much guidance on the college level. Mike Wallace was also a "speedster who doesn't catch naturally with his hands." He's gotten better since he's been in the pros, but he still has a tendency to catch with his body. When you're dealing with a prospect who has a lot to work with it's worth the attempt to develop him. He is a cut above athletically to what's left, place that in the context of the situation he was in and it's easy to be intrigued by the idea of taking a late round chance on him. It's not that Canes fans lose their **** over anyone who played here, you don't see people demanding Travis or Jacory. But when you're close to the situation, you're aware that a lot of the talent from the passed few years was obscured by a completely broken coaching situation.

Yeah! Who wants a Wr that is 6'5", runs a 4.3 and has high potential, on our team?? and in the 4th round???

There will be better options for us in 4th than Streeter.

He can catch just like Tebow can throw. Just not very polished. It's easily corrected.

They don't correct that in high school very often. They do in college but not at Miami because our coaches ****ing suck.

This is correctable at the next level. See Sam Shields. Guy couldn't play DB or WR at Miami. Then all of a sudden he's playing well for the Packers and balling out in the playoffs. Explain that.

DeMarcus Van Dyke. Kid couldn't wrap up on a tackle to bring down a 4th grader in a broom closet. Surprise surprise once he gets to the NFL. They've taught him a thing or two.

That..I'm all for taking him in the 4th if he's available

I have no idea why some of you are dying for this guy. He looks like a taller Ted Ginn. Sure he's fast and can jump but that alone doesn't make you a wr. He catches most passes with his body and drops way too many passes. This guy wouldn't make the dolphins roster if drafted

jeff may take a shot at tanny's boy fuller wr today. keep an eye on this.

i hate to break it to you miami u fans but his qb sucked also. could be a target today

Hate to break it to us?

Like we didn't know that Sticks Harris sucked, Same for our current QB, giraffe neck.

If we draft Jacory Harris then maybe I will hop on the "Fire Ireland" bandwagon.

This guy can be coached up into something special. Look at the strides he made with a real coaching staff his last year in Miami. Not to mention the amount of 'Canes who entered the draft raw, and hadn't done much in college, but became solid contributors for their teams after being coached up.

I see a lot of potential in streeter. IMO, when it comes to the mid and late round picks, we are basically drafting potential, and hoping the staff can bring them along.

i like a lot of guys. streeter, certainly falls in that category.
