I'm not saying he is what he used to be, but to label a player as "garbage" with a resume like his is comical. I guess these guys will be "garbage" soon because of age, being on the "wrong side of 30" and all:

I don't care what he used to do. No one should. He damned sure isn't going to be doing what he used to do in 2014. Calling him garbage isn't talking about his resume, it's talking about what he's likely to be this season, which is accurate.

When his biggest contribution is an average of 5 yards better starting field position (a contribution which may soon be negated) with the added benefit of fumblitis, yes.

Penn St fans blindly support and make excuses for their team, staff, and their alumni no matter what and get all whiny when somebody knocks one of them. Don't go burning any cars now because a couple of people have called him garbage. Apparently, he's also delusional.
