No worst than Dilfer

do you have the defense the ravens did when they won the SB???

NOT EVEN CLOSE.

and Dilfer didnt throw many INTs. i would even say dilfer is better than AJ and/or Gus.
 
Dilfer is worst then AJ and Gus combined.

Yo're forgetting a helluva dominate running game and a the scariest championship defense, I've ever seen.

I agree. At least he has playoff experience.
 
Trent Dilfer may have very well played with the best combination of offensive and defensive lines to have ever been assembled, you throw in Jamal Lewis, the Linebackers, Chris McAllister & Rod Woodson...and you may very well have the best team of all time....
I hate to take anything away from Dilfer, but I think Ray Lucas could have won with that team

Lucas would have thrown 5 INTs and lost them the game. all i remember about Lucas was his INTs.

Have you watched the same preseason games as the rest of us ??

Our QB play is horrible and yes, Dilfer was better than both of the guys we have...besides, the Bucs and the Ravens had other things going for them...If you think our D will be as good as either of those...go back to watching preseason games again....you might learn something....
 
Horrible comparison...
Dilfer is highly underrated and a very solid QB.
Many Seattle players have bene quoted as saying how relieved they were when Dilfer would come into the huddle to take over for Hasslebeck, because he knew what he was doing, he was a leader, and they could count on him to manage the game, not make mistakes, and run the QB position in a solid way.
For you older guys, you know thats how Miami QB Bob Griese was too. He never did anything spectacular, he just managed the game well, and of course was surrounded by superior talent.
So comparing the never-accomplished-anything Feeley and even the career-backup-for-a-reason Ferotte to Dilfer is very weak.
You should give Dilfer a little more respect than that.
 
our defense will be top notch this year. At least 4 probowlers.

Are you kidding me...Dilfer might have had a great team around him, but he is an upgrade over what we have now.

same here. Just remeber when he was a Jet and went like 6-1 in relief of Testaverde. I also went to the chargers game in Miami when he hit Chambers and McKnight for Td's. Still his 1st start against the Bills will never be forgotten. He had atleast 4 picks and a few fumbles. He was actually runnning around in circles heaving the ball in the air. I can laugh at that now. :D
