Nolan Carroll

Wilson in coverage is giving up a QB rating of 64. That is very good coverage, he is a 4th corner and plays the toughest position in sports at slot corner in a passing league. He is developing into a really good and versatile player. If you don't see it well I'm not sure what your watching!
 
That prevent was so stupid! And Philbin claims we pass rushed then and they just made a great play! WTF?!

We totally shifted our strategy at the 8 second mark at end of first half. If we kept playing the D we were it would've been 16-3 at half, Ofcourse Philbin would've figured out how to lose 17-16!

Second time we have failed at clock management.

Dont use prevent.
Dont pass when your trying to run the clock out.

That stat number is good. I've watched every play since he was drafted, hell I watched him in college. Just seems like he gets beat a lot...am I alone in this thought?
 
Carroll to me is as frustrating as Tannehill. Inconsistent even when playing well. It's like they're brothers from another mother.
 
He always got beat before this year. This year He's been a very sure tackler and made plays in coverage. IMO he hasn't been the weakness, it's been RJ20 and Clemons refusal to catch interceptions although his play has been very steady. Carrol has improved and looks to be gaining confidence, if Patterson could stay healthy we'd have a very good cornerback unit.
 
I have been saying for weeks that Carroll is getting better. He is disciplined, he is intelligent and he competes. This was one of his best games and it was against a good team. While Dimitri Patterson has superior skills, we are lucky that Carroll is able to cover his repeated absences.
