What sucks is that if we bring in Zimmer we're gonna have to redo our front seven & find a legit ILB & DEs. Can Wake excel as a DE? I question letting Nolan go.

I think he's a perfect 4-3 DE, but for the last few years I believe Zimmer's been running a 3-4. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Zimmer runs a 4-3. Only ran a 3-4 for one year in Dallas.

Zimmer is a 4-3 defensive coach & Wake is a 3-4 OLB. I think Dansby & Burnett are capable of playing SLB & WLB respectively but we'll have to find a new ILB. Soliai & Langford are UFAs, Starks & Odrick could start at DT, resign Langford for LDE & give Wake a crack at RDE? The instability kills me.

They are not the same player but maybe he can. It just adds to the uncertainty heading into the future.

I don't think the switch will be excruciating. Wake should definitely do well as a 4-3 DE, he will put pressure on the QB. I think Starks can play the inside too, so I'd be fine with

why doesnt anyone know that many of our players were former 4-3 players? wake was a DE in canada .
