Maybe Im the only one but i have certain players i like and hope do well.. in most cases - they are ex-Miami Hurricanes but there are some other players who I just like to root for... guys who i just like to watch play because they play hard or are just fun to watch.. guys like Troy Polamalu, Reggie Bush, etc...

so, anyways, what are some ofyour favorite non-dolphin players and why

unfortunately deangelo williams... love the way he runs, i think hes a top 3 back in the league and just fun to watch... im just hoping i watch him run for negative yards this week...

Brandon Marshall... hes just an imposing presence at WR and is so physical...

I had a man-crush for Eli an Plax.....but I guess that was just for a certain January Sunday afternoon only...

Aaron Rodgers (Cal)

Nnamdi Asomugha (Cal, class act and smart guy)

Desean Jackson (Cal, and because he's "undersized" but seems to dominate)

Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson (non primadonna WR superstars)

Ocho Cinco ( he is not what ESPN makes him to be )

I can't really think of anyone else as of now.

Jonathan Vilma: Cane and classy
Kurt Warner (great guy, philanthropic, who's overcome huge obstacles not once but twice)
Brian Urlacher - old school LB
Warrick Dunn - retired: builds houses for struggling single parents

Peyton Manning - the only dependable Patriots killer and a rightful heir to Marino's records.
Jay Cutler - underdog, I guess.
Chad Ochocinco - I find him hilarious.
Ed Reed - The best Ravens defender without having committed murder.
Eli Manning - beat the Patriots.

I liked Pennington even when he was a Jet. He always gave it all despite the physical limitations and the New York media trashing him all the time.

Ah ok, I have some more.

Peyton Manning
Brian Westbrook
Ray Lewis
Ed Reed
Andre Goodman

Kurt Warner, Big Ben and Hines Ward are my 3 favorite non-dolphin players.

I was a big fan of the late Sean Taylor too.

The guys I usually love watching are recent draft picks that I liked a whole lot and start doing really well at the next level. But, once they've been in the league a little while, I sort of let them go and stop caring as much.
