Non Hater/Supporter Of Qbs views

Berlin wasn't bad in college, he just wasn't your household name. look at his Sr. year stats:
2680 yards, 195 out of 348 attempts for a 56% completion rate, 22 TDs, and 6 INTs

Pretty good stats

Over the past few weeks, there have been "___ suxs, ____ will be cut" and many more post/threads about our QBs, but as I non-hater/non-supporter of any certain QB on the roster, I wanted to give my view on the situation.

Gus: The main reason Gus was brought onto the Miami Dolphins team is because he is a Scott L. man and knows his system. That does not make him a better NFL player then people on our team. What it means is that he is more likely to grasp what Scott is doing with the offense and be the person that makes the learning process easier for the WRs, Rbs, and so on. He has shown good flashes here and there, but he is no means a long term solution to our Quarterback problems, he is more like a mini-mold of what the coaching staff is aiming for.

Feely: Yes, we have all seen AJ last year and his learning pains as being a starter & some of his problems this preseason. I know people want to bash him and cut him from the team, but let's not forget even our new General Manager(forget his name) has said in the past that getting Feely was a good move...so its clear that not only did Wanny and Rick see something in him, but other people did also. If Saban truely thought that AJ didn't stand a chance in our new offensive scheme, he would not even be bothering getting him involved. I don't hate AJ nor do I love him, but point is that we've all seen that he can be a decent QB in the NFL(rather it be back up or starter) and the New England game last season will show that.

Berlin: Let's not forget that he is a rookie qb in the NFL and has struggled in the college game. He has shown some light that he can play and is a decent player, but to say put him in the game as the starter is not the solution or way to go about things. There was only one Dan Marino, one Jim Kelly, one Steve Young, and there is only one Big Ben, so people need not think Berlin will do for us like Ben did for the Steelers in his rookie season. Having said that, Berlin should make the team and be developed into a very decent backup.

Sage: Nothing really to say about Sage because he hasn't played that much, thus you really can't give thoughts and views on somebody you rarely see throwing the ball. From what I did see against the Jags on Saturday and what Sage did durning the Ravens game last season, he shows some promise as being a pretty decent backup of sorts.

The point of this thread was not to bash or praise any QB on the team, but rather to give personal thoughts on each and hoping that the users that want to bash each QB can see that we have a pretty decent qb core here, maybe not all superstar QBs, but people that can get the job done under the right coaching staff.

Lol. I could've done one about the O-Line players, but giving good input on them is like defending OJ on murder.......impossible....opps, nvm.

So you are saying we need to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks and when it counts?

I feel good now!! I will feel better once the qb position is settled though.

That and have faith in our coach and coaching staff.

It's better then sending the message that we are doomed and will plunge to our deaths if __ is our QB.

Okay, I like your thread. You caught me.

My views?

1. Gus is winning the job (so far)
2. AJ is losing the job (not because Gus is winning)
3. Sage deserves a better look
4. Berlin will most likely be a PS player, but he has been a surprise.

It's a good thing you came clean, I didn't want to have to send the mascot TD to come rough you up until you came clean and have people searching through your garbage for evidence that you liked the thread.
