None of you are getting the point

Ok.

You purchase a used car for $10,000.

You drive it for two years and add another 20,000 miles to the vehicle.

Now you're looking to sell the vehicle to someone else.

Let's start with $10,000.

Pats gave up a forth for Moss traded him for a second

Fist pump. More Pat Turner, Pat White, John Jerry, D Thomas type players. Yes one in this draft and one next year for that head case B Marsh. Btw Henne stinks and Moore isn't much better. Any head case could clearly see that.

No one should cry, but let's not start this homer fueled spinjob designed to hold back any accountability towards Ross and Ireland for making a **** trade. Someone always shows up to say "wait and see" when we make an obviously stupid move. Just call it as it is.

Again, Ireland and Ross are clearly incompetent. Not many here are debating that point I would hope.

First of all, you all just need to back away from the ledge. I swear to God after every single move people overreact and threaten to become Jets fans or some garbage.

You are all freaking out because we aren't very public about these moves. Nobody saw this Marshall trade coming and nobody knows where Manning will be playing.

I don't care what Marshall's stats were. Marshall did care about his stats. He is a headcase. He openly trashed his teammate, Matt Moore, several times and gloated about how good "his buddy" Jay Cutler is. Marshall was all about "ME ME ME ME ME ME." We don't need those kind of players.

Look at the offense that Green Bay played in. Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Jordy Nelson. Would any one of those players bitch about not getting his obligatory fantasy stats like Marshall would have? They were receivers by committee. AKA they weren't selfish *******s and they would put their ass on the line for their teammates.

No I'm not comparing Davone Bess and Brian Hartline to any of those receivers. Nor am I comparing our quarterback situation to that of Green Bay's. That is besides the point.

What I am saying is give this *expletive expletive* move a damn chance before you start posting the garbage threads saying that Philbin should change his name to Cam Cameron.

At the end of the day, would you rather have a selfish group of whiny little losers who cry about not getting the ball enough - or a team built by a coach who has been in an organization with a rich tradition of building perennial winners?

For the love of God, let it play out.

Come on....its not like we traded Roberto Wallace. We traded Marshall our best offensive player for a song. I just love high browed fin fans who are smarter than everyone else. In retrospect, maybe the trade was alright based on Marshalls alleged incident, but you cant come down on us when we are promised a splash and the only thing we do is get rid of a probowl player.

100% agree, especially with the part about the Green Bay WR corps. Marshall would never be welcome on that team, and they have the best WR group in the league. I am glad Philbin is taking control here and setting a precedent for the kind of culture he wants.

You don't care about his stats? When's the last time a Dolphins WR had back to back 80+ catch 1,000 yd seasons?

I totally agree with you.

Marshall has been a headcase since he arrived. Yes he can put up some receiving yards consistently and demand double coverage.
But the bottom line is that the teams he has been on DONT WIN.

In the games he has played in since starting back in 2007

2007 7-9
2008 7-8
2009 8-7
2010 6-8
2011 6-10

34-42 record as a #1 reciever.

I personally won't miss his drops in key situations.

I'm not happy about the situation but I'll take it considering this draft is deep in receivers. I know everyone wants instant results and resolution but like the man said, let's let it play out. None of us know what's in store, and should reserve our pessimistic views for the time being.

I agree with your comments and I'm "all in" on Ireland.

If the off feild reports are true Ireland had no choice but to trade Marshall and was luck to get 2 3rds for a player who might be suspended this year.

I am concerned about WR depth but we are still in the first 24 hours of free agency. I know some big names are gone but solid talent exists - Robinson, Manninghan. And the draft is deep with WR potential this year.

I would say its time to move on from Manning and reel in Flynn. Enhance our OL, DL and DB spots and then focus on draft.

Where will that leave us in our devision? I'm not sure but it's better to build something with people that you can count on rather than hope that they will show up to practice, or not get stabbed by your spouse or not punching a woman, enough with the drama!

Go back and listen to Philbin's opening press confrence and you had to feel, under the circumstances, that this was going to happen.

You know if Marshall had caught 90% of his passes, been a model teammate/citizen and a likeable person I would be right there crying with you but fact of the matter is he was none of those and seems I even remember him running out of bounds on a few plays when it was obvious he could care less about trying to win in MIA.

Its a good sign our new coach is cleaning the bottom of the barrel so we can actually get talent that cares.

We're well on our way to building an 'all care' team. The caringest team in the NFL! We're going to Care Bear Stare our opponents into submission!

The point I'd like to get to is this:

Anybody got some aspirin for my hangover this morning? Ugh.

I just love how Ross' main goal this off season is to get fans back in the seats. At 4:01 yesterday he trades his best weapon. lol. Can't make this $#@% up anymore.
