But she had a hand in dealing one of the worst QB picks, Mark Sanchez the No. 5 pick in the draft, to the Jets(which was not a bad thing) in return for safety Abram Elam, defensive lineman Kenyon Coleman and backup quarterback Brett Ratliff. Elam is the only one that even approaches being an avg player. Coleman has bounced around the league with like six different teams. I do not think Ratliff is even in the league anymore. That was supposed to be a great trade. If the Jets were not as inept as they were it would a win for them and another in a long list of fails for the Browns. You want this woman to lead this organization? You have got to be kidding! And the author is proud of it.

Hey Jets fans, like the way Mark Sanchez looks in a New York Jets uni? You have West Brighton native and Cleveland Browns salary cap specialist Dawn Aponte to thank.OK, all you long-suffering Jets fans. You 300-section types, who think gold was struck with last weekend's drafting of USC quarterback Mark Sanchez.
You have one person to thank for your good fortune:
And it's not Rex Ryan.
Instead, give a nod to former Notre Dame Academy second baseman Dawn Aponte from down the block.
That's right.

That looks like a stellar source your using.

Ireland's gone, and Dawn did. Aponte is the greatest thing to happen to Dolphins ever. Ireland lovers are desperate.

Please dude, just stop the BS!

Seriously, she wasn't the GM she was on the staff as the capologist. It gets more ridiculous by the moment in here today.

I see that as soon as Ireland is out of the building the fans have chosen their next target to rip and complain about.

Bellicheat was coach of the browns when they became the not browns. Why not blame him?

Didn't take long did it. And she has actually done a pretty good job for the team.

She didn't pick Sanchez. IIRC she spotted some technicality in the paperwork that had to be worked out, and worked it out in the nick of time for them.

She did not pick Mark Sanchez. She is not going to be the GM. Stop. Just stop.

This team is in phenomenal cap shape. I'm not a big fan of Aponte, but she's doing a good job as capologist. Stop freaking out, people. Ireland is TOAST. They want Tom Gamble. These are great developments. Let it play out.

WOW the capoligist is being blamed for drafting Mark Sanchez as Rex walks around with a tat of Sanchez jersey on his leg.....the Browns have been a disaster long before Dawn showed up.....is it really necessary to take sides? What's done is done and I hope all the moves will be successful even if I don't agree with them.....
