Not trying to say I Told You So...

Based on the threads, what I have seen is pretty positive about his return. A far cry from Ricky is a freak go away. Now I'm hearing excitement, or he sure looks good, I'm glad he's back. Or I don't trust him completely, but it sure is good to have him back....things like that...

Based on the poll the lean is towards the not. I surely have not noticed what your saying either.

It's the same people over and over saying yeah, and no....

Clayton and Duper never quit on their team. They didn't screw 52 other guys for their own selfish purposes.

What Ricky Williams did is not a mistake. It is a character flaw, and considering that the guy is obviously psychologically unstable, there's no telling when he will decide to up and start running around with Lenny Kravitz again.

what? quiting your job is worse than rape, trafficing in cocain, and not taking care of your kids?

Yeah, my colleague murdered this family and I was ok with that. but when he quit his job without a two weeks notice, that really pissed me off.:fire:

yeah clayton and duper are real role models:

Wide Receiver - Mark Duper (1989 Accused of Rape, charges eventually dropped, 1994 charged with buying cocaine with intent to sell)

Wide Receiver - Mark Clayton (1993 Dead Beat Dad)

just saying that players make mistakes

I would take either one of those two back on this team in a heart beat!

Why? Because they never felt the need to walk out on training camp the week before it started.

I sort of am, see i still haven't forgotten what he did last year, and i'll never like him the same way for it. But if he can be an asset to the team and help us win i think i can forgive him. But, it doesn't matter what i think of him, it's not me that counts it's the players in that locker room. Can they play with him there? If they can, then that's great, but if they cant then i'd be fine with getting rid of Ricky. I ripped his name off the back of my jersey out of disgust at the time, but if he can help out the franchise with the moulding of Ronnie Brown, and winning some games, i could forgive him and i'm sure most could.

...............without smiley faces having something to post you would not.

A great quarterback Yoda would make...compete for the job and beat out AJ you should...

I do not have a problem with ricky coming back because of Saban. Saban has the psychology to make something like this work out fine. You all bashed Wannstedt and Ricky left for various reasons other than he wanted to smoke some gange. Now he is back because he owed 8 mil and we could use him in a serious offense that will make LB's very confused. For all those hoping we trade him or that this is what it was all about, better think again, Ricky cannot play the first four games. that means he has to prove himself way beyond just showing in camp. When we start to win some ball games and play everyone in close battles, the attitude will change and this whole thing will be a team thing instead of a "who can we blame this week" kind of crap that many fans like to do. Ricky is the new victim. He is the new dog when we lose. You watch. It is sure to come. AJ is god now that fiedler is gone but it wont be his fault because everyone is locked into Ricky as the whole focus.

I ...for one .....am not happy Ricky is back with the Dolphins. He doesn't deserve to wear the auqua, coral, and white. I think Saban is making a big mistake. I don't see this turning out well for the team as a whole. Saban is burning some of the goodwill he would naturally have as the new coach by taking Ricky back. The best case scenerio...in my opinion.. is to get a draft pick out of him (probably a 3rd or 4th) after the season. Worst case...who knows? I think he should have just cut Ricky in April and be done with it. The Ricky circus will be the story all season.

Look, I believe people deserve second chances, but Ricky had his when he came to Miami four years ago, after alienating himself from his Saints teammates and coaches. I think if Ricky wants to play ball, he should be able to, I just don't want him on my team anymore.

Agreed. Just imagine the split that will be in the locker room. I can guarantee you that there are some players that will not be happy to see him back. They may put on the good public face, but they won't be happy.

I already hold KB in the highest reguards due to his draft contributions, but reading his take on the Ricky situation I have even more respect for him!

If we can win I'm happy to have him back. If another player did the same as Ricky would you feel the same as you do about Ricky?
