The possible downside is that he has a great year and his contract is up. Which means we either beat any offer or franchise tag him. Either choice could be more expensive, if he has a great year.

Safe bet is offer him a respectable contract now.
 
In today's game I rather have a Gesicki type than a Fasano type. Probably only 3 TEs in the league that can do it all.

You can't take ANUfan to heart. That's his M.O. to enter a thread spewing baseless anger and bile. He likes entering discussions like a rabid animal.
 
Nothing was percolating for the Jerome Baker extension and then it suddenly happened. BTW - I can remember when the word "percolating" was exclusively used in coffee making.

I am a big fan of Gesicki and hope this is not his last year as I see him as an important piece in winning it all in the next 2-3 years.

Long may come along well, but TE's usually take a couple of years to really have an impact.

Lets find a way, quietly as you do it Dolphins to surprise us one day with that Gesicki extension!
 
I too like him a lot and hope the new offense can exploit both speed and a guy (MG) who can make the big catch and score TDs. If they can't use him right I guess he'll be gone.

Thanks for putting up the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. Well didn’t help that I was under 10 and my parents where out. Dark outside dark inside and Linda Blair has her head do a 360. About crapped my pants to scared to turn on the lights to scared to go turn the channel. But to entrained to close my eyes, so just stayed on the couch holding my 70 pound dog to protect me.
