Now that all the top WR's are off the market please explain to me the backup plan?

I believe we swap first round picks and the two thirds we just got with the browns. The browns are already going to take Claiborne in the 4 spot who would still be available at the 8 spot. we take Blackmon. The browns still get their guy and two additional third round picks.

Grab Mike Wallace from the Steelers. If you want speed at receiver he's got it. 4.33 40 at the combine. Roethlisberger will be pissed if another team gets him. He got just as many yards as Brandon Marshall did over the last 2 years. He went to the Pro Bowl last year. This guy has Ted Ginn speed with really good hands. The Dolphins will have to pay him big bucks though. Probably close to $8 million a year. This guy is only 25 though and in his prime.

Ross needs to sell this team. I suggest a boycott. Do not go to any Dolphins games. A completely empty stadium will put an end to this kind of b.s. Trading the best player on the team for 3rd round picks is ridiculous.

Yep :hclap:

Let me run with this Mike Wallace thing for a second. So we trade away a Pro Bowl receiver (Marshall) for third round picks. We potentially acquire a Pro Bowl receiver (Wallace) by giving up the #8 overall pick. I'm sorry but that seems like a waste to me.

Unless there's a rabbit in Jeff Ireland's hat, this offseason is looking absolutely ****ing brutal.

Trade down into the early 20's , pick up a 2 or 3, then ship the 1st for Wallace or Djax

Vincent Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Colston, Garcon, Mecham, are all off the market, oh no but wait, Reggie Wayne is still available right? that's why we traded marshall right? it was a master plan to open the way for Manning and wayne to come as a package deal? oh no, Wayne just resigned with the Colts, oh well, at least we have Brian Hartline and bess!

nothing new we did the same thing when all the FA QBs was ava. laste year waited till the last min till all was gone then started lookin for one > same with the WRs , we are the laughing stock , nobody can be this damn dumb at football and if they really are they need to sell the team and get the hell out of a business they know nothing about plain and simple.

Jeff Ireland doesn't do backup plans, he wastes third round picks on crappy players. Maybe that's why he was so adamant about getting two third rounders, now he'll be able to draft four ****ty ass players in the span of two years, yay Ireland!

What nobody seems to be mentioning is that in 2-3 years Marshall will be worth maybe a 4'th rounder at best. He will be 30 years old..........

WHY keep him for the next 2-3 years? Does anyone really seeing us winning a superbowl just because we keep Marshall around??

GREAT move to trade him now while he is still worth two 3'rd round picks. We did the same thing with Chambers a few years ago, how well did he do after turning 30 ???
