Obscure player who's jersey you would wear?

Ok, this bites.. www.reebok.com only has the "authentic" jerseys available for customization, as far as I can tell. Those are around $300.00, which ain't happening, at least not from me. :eek:

nflshop.com has the "replica" ones which are only $75.00, but they only have the aqua home jerseys, not the white away ones. And I prefer the white ones. Aaargh.

Oh well, I guess I'll deal with the aqua color. No way am I paying $300.00 for a freakin' jersey.

Excellent calls - I especially like Norm Bulach and Don Nottingham - Tim Foley is a great one and Benny Malone with those bow legs - man what a call. T. Paige is nice too...How bout Dick Anderson, Bill Stanfill, Blackwood bros, D Strock, H. Twilley.,D Hollier, M Fernandez, G Small, B Brudzinski, B Bomhauer, E Rhone, K Simms just to name a few more...

LMAO. You forgot the first part of his name, though. The part he added himself. I beleive it's "The Immortal" Yatil Green. can't believ we passed up Randy Moss for that guy.

Yeah, I guess that's not all that obscure. JJ Johnson, then.
 
Jake Scott isn't "obscure" by any means, but his name goes far enough back into Dolphins history that a lot of younger fans wouldn't really be familiar with him. I think he'd fit into the idea of what I'd like to have in a "non common" jersey, for sure.


Ron Heller is another name that comes to mind. How many people wear jersey's with offensive linemen's names on them anyway??? :D

One I don't have that I'd like: Ferrell Edmunds. I was always a fan. Actually my two favorite positions to watch are TE and Safety. TE because that's what I played up into semi-pro football and Safety, well, they were normally the guys that were hitting me. :)

An obscure that I do: it's a non dolpin but RB Skip Hicks: from when he was drafted by the Skins out of UCLA. He signed that, a football, and a hat for me. We went to Jr high and high school in the same area, played against eachother, and kept in touch a little and then he got drafted and come home to visit his family and he gloated a bit (in a "hey, you only play semi-pro and I just got drafted by the Skins", friendly way) I asked him for a signed hat and damned if he didn't have it in the car with him and his family (they came by to eat at the restuarant I was running at the time to rub it in a little). I had just asked him for a hat since i wasn't a big Skins fan (which he knew) but he brought the football and jersey in and signed them all for me. He was a pretty solid guy. Half twisted sense of humor like me.
 
I'm about to spend $90 on a Welker. What are the odds his number changes?
 
oliver would be cool.....ferrell edmunds is pretty obscure. how about mark higgs?
