Of all my years as a Dolphin fan I cant believe some of you...

Give me a ****ing break no one and I mean no one cheers harder for this team then I do on gameday! I have lost over $2500 in pay alone this year to watch this **** show on Sunday! Hell I had a out last night because I had to pick my girlfriend up at the airport. Did I take it hell no! I proudly put on my gear got there 2 hours early, and was the only idiot at the airport bar cheering the game!

Being a fan doesn't mean eating the turd burger they are serving us! I want what's beat for this team and that is finally landing a franchise QB and a real regime running the show! You guys want to continue to stick your head in the sand and except mediocrity or garbage have at it!

I'm betting some around here might still have the nerve to call you a 'terrible fan'... Unreal. :bobdole:

"True" fans as you put it want something better and are willing to sacrifice today for a better tomorrow. One could easily argue the real fans are those that are on the SFL (or get a franchise QB) bandwagon. It is much harder for us to sit here and hope for losses than it is for you homers to sit there and hope for wins, andf thus a crappy future.
And if we do not end up with Luck(for whatever reason)(or he is a bust), you "SFL true fans" will have egg on your face?
I root for us to win each week. That is a true fan. I know that the chances for that are getting slimmer, but I still do.

I'm so sad I'm not a true fan because I want luck

id have to disagree.

first thing, it prob was not even the most boring dolphin brown game in the past 10 years, as that prob took place in 2004 sunday night late in the season. that was boring.

the sloppiest most boring dolphin game overall was prob the dolphin steeler game in 07, the mudfest.

Well, I wasnt being totally serious. Just making a point about how terrible that game was. And yea, the mudfest was just bizzare. Ill never forget the punt landing into the ground point first and sticking like a javelin.

No one has been a fan longer then me.. (1966)...and if it takes losing every game to get a QB like Luck, I say lose every freaken game...

Did you see what we saw last night? This team doesn't DESERVE to win!

"People that don't get it don't get that they don't get it."

Academically, Andrew Luck is a Senior. Good "luck" to Mr. Luck going back to STANFORD and finding a one-year graduate program lol.
In engineering :chuckle:

You know, I once had a job at Burger King my four years of high school. Then when I graduated high school, I was faced with difficult choice of keeping my mediocre job at Burger King or sacrificing four years of my life to attend college and better my future.

Can't believe I opted to go to college and better my future. All I got out of it was a nice paying job with the state, government benefits and retirement package, company vehicle, a kush career doing a whole lot of nothing and wasting the tax payers money, as well as many other luxuries.

Goddamn do I miss mediocre Burger King.

Wanting us to lose every game? Whatever happened to being respectable? I hear the cries for Andrew Luck but what are you guys thinking, that we are going to tank two seasons in a row for him? He doesnt have to come out this year and if he doesnt want to play for Miami he can easily stay another year. His comment was best said, "I wouldn't want to play for fans like that." We'll I agree with him 100% and not to mention he is a college quarterback just like Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell were.

Good question, whatever happened to being respectable? It seems this team lost respectability after Shula and JJ at the latest.

It certainly went downhill when we made Dave Wannstedt, who had already destroyed the Bears franchise our head coach with decision making power.

Wannstedt season by season destroyed what JJ left for him, and this franchise has never really recovered.

So to answer your question, respectability went out the window.

Right now I think many of us just want to see this team get back on track with a true franchise QB like we had with Marino and Bob Griese before him.

And of course...gut this organization like it should have been after last season.

Not only are you a terrible employee for not staying with Burger King, but you are a terrible citizen for wasting tax dollars.

No but they can call me a idiot for dropping $20 on parking and $70 on a bar tab!

You know what is insane??? Is a fanbase cannibalizing itself through misdirected anger... Fans getting mad at other fans when the reality is they both want the same thing just some are more desperate or frustrated than others...

Truthfully I feel your pain... I too am a Dolphins fan after all... I am in South America and have to see games (publicly) in ex-pat bars... Somehow... Inexplicably in a Spanish speaking country like Argentina with LOADS of relatives living in Miami I had to watch the Pats opener in a bar JAMMED with freaking Patriots fans and Brady jerseys...

it's not easy being a fan of a franchise that is being run right into the ground... You think that would unite us... Unfortunately some people would rather take runs at other fans simply because they would prefer a miniscule shred of hope in a season off the rails.

Maybe the anti-S4L club should remember that we ALL suffer the same indignities on Sunday.
