Absolutely Hilarious!

After killing Rex Ryan for 2 years, going on three, you want his brother here as your HC.

Will all of those who trashed Rex and want Rob as your HC, please thank my post. I think I can set a record for "thanks" on this board in 4 hours. Isn't Rob "too fat" to win anything? Doesn't he have a big mouth? Isn't he to arrogent to win? Funny - same qualities as the head coach of my team.

I'll take your interest in Rob Ryan as a compliment to the Jets....

It may be that Cowher brings some great things to the table, but I'm sure Ryan will bring some things too...perhaps a buffet w/ a side of Crisco?

Rob Ryan would be an interesting choice. Really, I don't think you could go wrong with Cowher, Fisher, Gruden or Ryan. Bottom line, Stephen Ross has to get this next hire RIGHT. He cannot afford to botch this coaching search like he did with Harbaugh.

Jeff Fischer. He can start NOW and get this train wreck of a team turned around. He's a good coach that has taken less talented teams and made them respectable. Question on Ryan, wouldn't Miami have to wait till the end of the season (and playoffs) before they could pursue him? Or can they open talks during the season?

i cant guarantee anything, but hes a guy i would give a shot.

i just like rob ryans style, i feel he would get the most out of his players, he would not put up with this crap that we are seeing now, etc. i cant guarantee anything, hes just a guy i would take a gamble on.

also, why would we have to go through another rebuilding phase if we signed him?

so your telling me all the **** that we have went through, you would give a guy, just because he comes out of a coaching fam a chance to PROVE HIMSELF ? NOWAY NOT ME .. i want a guy that has been there done that I DONT WANT TO TAKE ANOTHER CHANCE AND HOPE HE TURNS OUT i want a guy that knows what it takes to get to the SUPERBOWEL im done with giving and hopeing on a guy thats never won a game as a HC .. give me somebody that knows what it takes and has done walk down that road........

BRO!!!!! EVERY COACH will want to install his own offence /defence it dosent matter who weget you better belive BOTH the Defence and Offence , BOTH will be redone /revamped.

Cowher is primed for the Giants job, they will have a terrible season and Coughlin will take the heat. Say what you will about the roster in Tampa Bay, Gruden was still a SB winning coach, but I would prefer a Rob Ryan or Jeff Fischer type. Could you imagine the battles between the Ryans if they were HC for rivals in the same division? That would be awesome.

Fisher would seem the most likely candidate. Good track record of winning and stability.
Cowher probably would not take the Miami job. He might not ever coach again.
Gruden is better off in the booth, but he would be a huge upgrade over Sparano.
Rob Ryan is waiting for the axe to fall on Jason Garret in Dallas. He will be the next HC at Dallas. Mark it down.

nope after the season.

I want Cowher, and what does he bring ? A Super Bowl ring.
The problem with Cowher is that he DOES bring a Super Bowl ring with him. History is not on his side, or anyone else's for that matter. No SB winning coach has ever won with two different teams. I just don't think the same "fire" is there for those coaches who have won it. Thats why I want Fischer (or anyone else that hasn't won one).

I dont see Dan Reeves. List is flawed.

Gruden sucks, Tony Dungy built that Tampa Bay Super Bowl team. Gruden never could find a QB for Tampa, when he left they finally drafted one in the first round and now Tampa is on the rise AFTER Gruden left.

Cowher wouldnt be bad but it took him forever to realize he needed a QB and when he finally drafted one in the first round, he finally got a ring. So both of those guys worry cause they arent very good with QB's and thats what we've been missing since marino.

All the other guys have been head coaches else where, Nolan sucked in San Fran, Martz doesnt know anything abt defense, so ill go with Rob Ryan, he could be a good head coach. I also wouldnt mind Jeff Fisher

Of all those names, Fisher is the only one that I would be fine with bringing in.
