I wanted Chuds in as the OC, but figured he was going to follow Rivera. The guy get's it and he has designed his offense for Newton's strengths. They aren't hiding him behind Williams and Stewart, those two are falling in behind him.

...I voted other...I wouldn't mind seeing Tony Dungy or Jeff Fisher as HC.....oh,and while we're at it...I like Ross to sell the team to Mark Cuban(Dallas Mavericks owner)

That's impossible. Cuban cannot be a majority owner of the Dolphins because there is an NFL team in the market of an NBA team that he owns. Here's the rule:
So as long as Cuban owns the Mavericks, the only NFL team he could buy with a majority stake would be the Cowboys.

I had thought they could own another franchise, but you're right I was thinking of Dr. Buss,but he had owned the kings and Lakers(same city)...I guess Cuban would have to sell the Mavs...to make my wish come true..:tongue:

I would probably have to say Cowher. He brings the mental toughness edge this team needs, problem is he needs to be surrounded by VERY sound Coordinators (I still think Nolan is a top 3 DC in the league, even though we have looked like flaming pooh defensively so far).
Right, only the NFL prohibits cross-market ownership. MLB,NHL, and NBA don't care.

Gruden, Cowher or Fisher all the "sexy" names. Rob Ryan it would be fun just to hear him and Rex go at two times a year!!! I honestly don't care who the coach is. I just want to win and be competitive.

The Rams new owner had to transfer the ownership of the Avs/Nuggets to his son over the next 2 years to satisfy the rule.
They are very strict on it...
I realize I'd be pretty happy with Gruden, Fisher, or Cowher. At the very least, they're NFL head coaches. I couldn't say the same about any of our coaches since JJ. That feels very responsible for why we've been set upon by so many debacles. I don't know if they'll bring us a super bowl, but I'm just excited at the prospect of being a professional team again.

I really liked Fischer's name going into this season, until I really started researching his records:
In 17 years as Head Coach, he had exactly......6 winning season...and one trip to the AFC championship. He ALWAYS had pretty darn good talent to work with on top of that..... I always loved the guy, and thought he gave his all to coaching, but I would have to say "No Thanks".

Do you wanna see his records? Its far from impressive. In fact, Sparano's numbers are better than Fisher's were at this juncture in his career.
