Offensive line gets shaken up in Monday's practice

Can McIntosh play RT?

Body and skill wise, he's a good fit for RT. Some players will get too used to one or the other and have problems switching between, though.

Depending on how they do this year. Would you guys be opposed to us drafting D'Brickshaw Ferguson or Winston or someone along those lines and then moving Carey permanently over the the other side?

To be honest, this is what I envision (drafting a stud LT early and moving Carey back to RT). Unless we get a shot at a QB.

He's always been a LT.

When he got here (and was supposed to be the RT), I remember him (or Tony Wise) saying it's like being left-handed and having to learn to be right-handed.

You just quoted Tony Wise.:shakeno: Bad Muck, bad.

The games ive been watching, i saw Damion Cook playing a lot. I think we have A LOT of depth on our offensive line (Carey, McIntosh, James, McKinney, Smith, Cook, Hadnot, McDougle, St. Clair, Middleton). Out of all of those players, it seems like Jeno James has already locked up the LG spot, even tho he tends to fall a lot. When i watched McDougle play, he was really good. But for our Center position, i think we need to try out everyone as a Center, because Seth McKinney isnt gonna do ****. I dont care if we tryout Alabi, McIntosh, or Cook at Center...we need to tryout other people. St. Clair was an All-American Center in college, so why isnt he getting some time at Center??

I think we are overblowing this. I think this is just more of a wake-up call to McDougle saying that we arent afraid to sit you if your going to slack your fat a** off.

Hey Muck why is it in the chat room if we type your name it comes out "teh Awesome" :rofl3:

lol@yall debating this move..i think the coaches have a better idea than us as to why they are switching it up..pple saying they dont like the move..lol & smh

This coaching staff is in some deep denial if they keep Seth McKinney at Center. Yes McDougle has been brutal at RT, but McKinney can not play either.

Saban should leave decisions like this to Houck, thats Houck's only job to make the o-line better, I think Carey should stay at LT. the real problem is McKinney, we should move Hadnot to center and then start Middleton or Cook at RG

Maybe he did. I agree about McKinney, however. I also think that Middleton would be a monster when he gets up to speed.
