However, he got injured and since then has been stuck behind that trio of receivers. Washington does have a lot of potential and ability. If I remember correctly, a lot of people had him pegged as a 1st rounder before he slid to the beginning of the 3rd.

But besides being behind some gifted receivers, he does need to work on his game. There are a number of aspects to his game, like route running and concentration, that he'll need to improve on or people will be screaming about him this time next year in the same manner they scream about Chambers and McMichael.
