Official 2014 Draft Thread (Round 2 and 3)

I am looking to make the first three picks on defense tomorrow.

DT DaQuan Jones…underrated DT. Big bodied.
LB Shayne Skov….Run stuffer. Great instincts. Terrible against the pass.
LB Telvin Smith…Very undersized, but can run with TE's. Can put on weight.
LB Yawin Smallwood…Could compete for snaps in the future at ILB
CB Pierre Desir….Small school kid with awesome potential.
CB Walt Aikens…Another small school player with great physical dimensions.
CB Kendall James…This is my super sleeper. I love this kid. From the "back yard" around here. I think he can help right away. Scheme fit.
FS Dion Bailey…Nice player. Good instincts and played against good competition.

What do you think of Jonathan Dowling?

I would like to see Miami maybe land one or two from the list below...

WR Martavis Bryant (I just like big WR's with some speed. We don't really have a big target for deep passes.)
WR Brandon Coleman (Would be nice inside the goaline, but needs quite a bit of work to see the field more.)
S Jonathan Dowling (Character issues might scare away Miami.)
G Dakota Dozier (Depth for now and needs a couple seasons to work on his footwork/hands.)
DE James Gayle (Never lived up to his potential at VT, but showed flashes of talent during his time.)
LB Ronald Powell (LB/DE on packages and has very good agility and showed he can play in zone.)
CB Gregory Ducre (Raw player that will take time to learn the position more. But would be good to develop for a couple of seasons.)

Bold guys are my favorites still on the board for positions that Miami could use...
