I don't understand that either, is there any guarantee a 5th rounder becomes a starter? You have Hyde right in front of you. He's better than Daniel Thomas, and they put up with plodding Thomas for so long. 49er's got their next Frank Gore. That's how good this RB is.

We don't need draft picks, apparently, we just want a bunch of bodies. This is not a team that's drafting with the feeling they JUST missed the playoffs, this is a team that is acting like they are starting from day one. Let's get a bunch of draft picks and see which ones stick, and if they don't pan out, oh well.
