It was Smythe, and I agree Tua shouldn't have thrown the ball there, but that's possibly a touchdown and probably not an interception if Smythe actually runs his damn route.
 
Make or break for Tua. I believe in the kid, but against this falcons D. If he can't get minimum 2 tds second half he isn't the guy
 
The only question there is…..why is Tua throwing to Smythe?

The few weapons on these are targeted so infrequently, it’s insane. It makes zero ****ing sense. It’s as if this team does exactly the opposite of what should be done.
 
you can't dink and dunk down the field all game, especially in the redzone. If Tua doesn't at least try the deep ball, this is whats going to happen

This. He was squeezing it in, but the pass was there and the placement was good. Smythe ran a rounded, lazy route and the safety came right through him for the pick.

This is one of about 20 reasons why Mike Gesicki should be on the field in a passing situation in the red zone.

Actually agree with all of that. Just anger talk on my part. Those guys along with Gesicki and Waddle are the only keepers on this team.

I also like Baker when used right, as a pass rusher primarily. He's poor in pass coverage.
