I really don’t think it’s a talent issue. We could certainly use some linebackers but we have a solid core it’s that the coaches aren’t using them correct or just calling dumb plays. We are a blitzing bump and run team that’s instead being told to play zone and rush 4

Yup. He has obvious talent, but no where near enough to make up for all the errors and injuries that come with it.

Even at his best he's still got the talent level of a depth receiver on a good team. I don't mind that we carried him this year and gave him another chance. I do mind that every single run in our receiving corps, including our top receiver, first round draft pick, only FA signing, and everyone else had issues with injuries and consistency. You aren't gonna construct an NFL roster without having some of these guys. But having every guy in a position group be that is a recipe for disaster that can only be blamed on the organization when it doesn't work.
