*** OFFICIAL BUFFALO BILLS @ MIAMI DOLPHINS POST GAME THREAD *** WK2

When Clemson beat Alabama 44-16 in the title game in 2018. We were up 37-16 late in the 3rd and early in the 4th. Alabama was down inside our 30 3 different times and all 3 times they didn’t kick FGs. They faked a FG which got stuffed and then got stuffed twice on 4th down. I think I’ll take Nick Saban philosophy over a random poster any day of the week.

By your logic Alabama should have just kicked FGs bc they were down there and could have. How does that make any sense?

You’re wanting me to have a purposeful “point” for not kicking the FG. I don’t have a purposeful point I’m simply saying that’s how I feel about that scenario. It’s just how I feel. It doesn’t make me right or wrong it’s just how it feels to me.

The same way it feels wrong to you. You don’t have a purposeful point either other than how you feel.

So now I'm a random poster and being compared to Saban. Lol ok.

How is that the same scenario as the fins bills game we just saw? It just isn't, no matter how much you want to stretch reality.

Keep in mind, you responded to my original post and had a different opinion. You're the one that wanted to engage in this argument. I still haven't heard any logical reasoning as to how kicking a FG in garbage time is less respected (or more *****, as you put it) than going for a TD. They're both irrelevant... I would have rather not been shutout, but I guess that's just me. Telling me that Saban wanted to practice a fake punt doesn't really say much.

I appreciate you sharing your opinion and engaging in this conversation, even if we disagree.

Hope everyone is ok. That’s scary for a parent.

Thank you! Yup, all OK, even the person she rear ended - who had to slam on brakes in front of her. Both cars drove off to the side grass to avoid the stopped traffic but she hit the front car in doing so - not sure why she followed it, no choice maybe. No other cars hit, which she may have helped with. Minor damage, almost none to the car she hit, no airbags (on a 70mph highway) at all so i'm happy. She's waiting for the AAA tow truck to take her and the car the rest of the journey (radiator lost coolant). Not the most ideal scenario, but she's a big girl and it's all sorted.

Edit: I come back and it's 0-35, not surprising. Moving on!

Yes I responded but after the first message back it was clear it was going to turn into a back and forth which it has and I tried to prevent to at after the 1ST message by saying we’ll agree to disagree but you kept on by saying cop out.

It is exactly the same situation. That Clemson-Alabama game was over by those times but he didn’t kick FGs he went for it so obviously he agrees with me. He’s only the greatest college football coach of all time. Also Flo apparently agrees with me bc he didn’t kick a FG either.

Yes you are a random poster on an internet message board just like me. I don’t know you and you don’t know me hence the random description.

Once again you say you haven’t heard a legit reason when I clearly stated in the last message I don’t have some purposeful point or in your words “legit reasoning” for not kicking a FG. I clearly stated that’s just how it FEELS to me. The same way it FEELS to you that you’d rather not get shut out.

Let’s flip it since this has gotten started... What is your “legit reasoning” for kicking a FG other than how it FEELS to you?

Our game plan offensively isn't what I have hoped it would be this year, but I can't evaluate our game plan when our players aren't executing and doing their job first. Dropped passes, missed blocking assignments, losing their one-on-one match-ups, false starts, turnovers, etc., make it hard to see where the problem is. If our players are honest, they will look in the mirror at themselves. If I were Flores, I would see who I could find as a successful veteran OL coach and hire them ASAP- money, no object.

Also, I was very supportive of Tua; however, now I am not so sure. He gets injured too easily for the NFL. I think we need to go with a bigger, more mobile QB when we have a chance.

I would like to see how that Oline looks

The season is not lost but positive change needs to happen. The OL almost singlehandedly lost the game this week and responsible for many of the bad plays against NE. **** Watson and his dumbass, can we muster a trade for RT or LT before the deadline? Potential in players doesn't win games.
Today went beyond the OL, my friend.

In game FG practice?

Practicing scoring a TD with a backup QB and terrible WR corp doesn't do as much for me.

(Plus, I have Sanders on my fantasy team so I'm biased)

Ps. I've been posting on this site for nearly two decades, but sure I'm random lol. Ok, I'm really random. Sorry

Just invest in elite guards and tackles. You can win with average QB and receivers. Just need that extra second to throw
What QB and what receiver(s), bro? Cuz we ain’t got neither atm.

The front seven‘s inability to generate a legitimate pass rush is also a huge concern. We need a guy who is a legit physical mismatch in the pass rush. Phillips can play better but we need more talent.

Bro you’re taking the random thing out of context. I don’t mean you’re not known around here bc you are. I’m just saying you’re a complete stranger to me just as I am to you. I didn’t mean disrespect in any way. Maybe random was the wrong word to use. I just meant were strangers other than a screen name that’s all. I promise no disrespect was intended.

It stings but the good news it's only 1 game.

Look at teams like Philly, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Texans all looked like studs week 1 and lost.

Titans looked done 5 sacks to 1 guy and turned around and beat a good Seattle team.

Styles make fights and for some reason we been struggling against Buffalo, but the season is young and we started 0-2 last year, so we're already better at this point. Long season to go and I'm not ready to quit.
