i take your point, BUT.... BUT.... there is a difference between 3rd string and outright embarassing. THEIR 3rd string moves the ball all the f@#k over the place and scores.
wake up man, look at ALL the box scores up there. the most embarassing game is this one. our team just isn't moving the ball. I'm not saying the season is over or look forward to the draft... i'm just saying i'm "let down". If Nick comes out and shows all new plays and schemes and we win games in the regular season, i'd be surprised and would wonder why Nick would purposely NOT call any of those plays in the preseason.
i don't buy the "i don't want to do any schemes or plans now because i don't want to give away my plans" B.S..... belichick nor ANYONE else in the NFL worries about that, and look at everyone else. no one is playing as embarassing as we are right now.
i hope we play a lot better the next game, if nothing else to save some face.

Well, at least we got 35+ minutes of seeing our defensive depth.
Before anyone jumps to conclusions (like I already have :D ) may I remind you of the nature of preseason by the performance of a Mr. Ray Lucas some years ago as Jay nursed a hip injury . . . perfection, sterling, start him now! they all said.
