I do hate to lose, but you really can not consider preseason a loss it is glorified practice and nothing more..

It's funny you say that... my high school football coach had a saying that you play like you practice and if don't practice well, you won't play well enough to play for him. He didn't care if we were going against our scout team or our 1st string D...he expected us to execute the play(s).

Sage is looking better than Feeley versus the same 3rd string defense. The defensive players on the field now for Sage were the same that were on for Feeley.

I am not going to say "Sage for Starter", BUT i will say we should give him a shot with the first-string offense (maybe next week?) to see how he does. after all, he filled in for fiedler and feeley admirably last year at the end (remember the game versus baltimore - wasn't too shabby).

I will bet $1,000,000 that some ****** will put up a Sage for Starter Thread.

While I won't start any threads, I actually wouldn't be opposed to starting Sage in the 3rd or 4th preseason game, let's make it an official all out quarterback competition. If he sucks, then pull him against the starters, the following game he can be 3rd string again, and nothing is lost.
