Amen.

I have never met a Tennessee fan that didn't think that was funny. I mean how can you not? It was hillarious.

At the South Carlina game two weeks ago we had a sign that said, "You can't spell Music City Bowl without USC."

This offseason, during a meeting with the USC boosters, Spurrier was asked how he planned on beating Tennessee. Without missing a blink Stevie quipped, "the same way Vandy beat 'em." How can you not laugh?

But what I like most about Spurrier is that he does things the right way. Never even a hint of a NCAA violation, I mean look at how he cleaned house when he arrived at South Carolina.

SOS being from my hometown doesn't hurt either, but just because you think about how you would love to beat a guy 365 days a year doesn't mean you can't respect him.
 Good stuff. UT fans must have been jumping for joy when Spurrier took over at SC. It kills me that he's not in Gainesville anymore, but I can't miss SC games now. And Holtz being of the SEC was a great benefit. He's like a plague to college football. Has he ever coached a team that was subsequently nailed by the NCAA?

Did anyone else read this article?

I found this an interesting quote coming from the ol' ball coach.
"They're very good, very talented," Spurrier said. "They break on the ball, they get turnovers. And they have a very good pass rush that sets it up for them. They play excellent zone coverage. They turn loose their rush guys and let those guys go make plays."

For a man that does not usually throw much praise on his opponents, that was pretty glowing remarks...

Not sure if that makes me more comfortable or less comfortable going into Saturday...

Just got done reading that one. I think the secondary is definitely in for a test on saturday. But I think the game will come down to our offensive production.

WHO else had a heart attack last night? MY gosh... I could not believe it. THANK YOU JARVIS MOSS....

Wow...

Great Article

Moss said he also got inspiration from one other person.

"When we broke the huddle," Moss said, "coach Meyer winked at me and said, 'Go block it.' "

He did. McDonald and Harris provided a solid push up the middle, giving Moss enough space to get off the ground and get a piece of the ball. Moss admitted his vertical jump is only 35 inches. Nonetheless, it was enough.

"I just jumped my highest and I was fortunate enough to get a piece of the ball," Moss said.

I love Jarvis Moss. I was going nuts when that happened!

Only 35 inch vertical?

Great Win Over Usc ****s...

17-16 And Win Over The Ole Ball Coach Finally!!!

That Xp Blocked Was The Game....

5 Things that must happen for the Gators to play for the NC
1. The Gators must win out in the regular season and SEC Championship Game (doing so impressively each game wouldn't hurt).

2. Any loss by Texas, Southern California, California, Notre Dame or Rutgers would help, though may not be a necessity. Also, if one-loss Arkansas wins out in the regular season and loses to Florida in the SEC Championship Game, it wouldn't hurt UF to see Auburn lose. One-loss Florida still would be the favorite to play for the BCS title instead of one-loss Auburn because the Gators would be SEC champs, but it would be easier not left to chance considering the Tigers beat the visiting Gators, 27-17, on Oct. 14.

3. A decisive winner would be needed in the Ohio State-Michigan game on Nov. 18. Some sort of 38-37 double-overtime win by either team may open the door for a title-game rematch.

4. Hope that with Florida and Texas so close in the BCS standings that if each (and Ohio State) wins out, voters won't want to see a title game rematch of the Buckeyes' 24-7 victory in Austin, Texas on Sept. 9. A victory by Michigan against Ohio State likely would hurt Texas, as it is doubtful the Longhorns would move ahead of a one-loss Buckeye team. Florida moving ahead of Ohio State, while by no means a given, would be more likely.

5. Hope that teams UF already has beaten continue to win. Tennessee, LSU and Georgia already are bowl eligible. It certainly couldn't hurt to see Kentucky (5-4) and/or Southern Miss (5-4) become bowl eligible. The same goes with South Carolina (5-4), provided the Gators beat the Game****s. With that, UF would need to root for South Carolina to top Clemson in the regular-season finale. Any strength of schedule boosts would help.

This was before this past weekend's games.

Ok, so I was out of town for the past four days at a wedding. These great friends of ours had their wedding at 3pm on Saturdya :fire: , and the reception was at a place with no TV :tantrum:

Fortunately, my buddy text messaged me throughout the game.

But, I didn't get to see anything other than a few highlights.

What was the problem on offense? Leak? OL? More Meyer forgetting about Wynn?
Is it time for Tebow full time?

Oh man, you missed probably the most exciting game of the year for us. Nail biter for sure!

As far as problems on offense I don't think there was one clear issue. More like a little of everything. Wynn was running as good as I've seen him, when he got the ball. Harvin had some great crossing route catches. Leak even had a couple good runs. Tebow was Tebow, great runner. He had a really good run for a TD. Some bad play calling, they ran a reverse option pass where Caldwell was gonna through it back to Leak in the flat but the pressure forced Caldwell to just wing it and they called intentional grounding , basically a 20 yard penalty that killed one of our scoring drives. Hetland missed another FG. Defense was very banged up, Siler played the first half and was ineffective with his bad knee so Spikes played the whole 2nd half. Everett missed most of the game as well with a shoulder and ankle injury. I'm sure you heard about the 3 blocked kicks. Offense just looked sloppy like it has the last few weeks.

We really need to get it together if we wanna bring home the SEC title.
