Official Free Agency and Rumors Thread

I am really liking the idea of going with a RB at #14. Successful teams have a bruiser back who can close out the game, and I am sorry to say Lamar Miller is not that kind of back. Lamar Miller really made strides last year, but he simply cannot break tackles when the defense is 100% expecting a run. Go watch some film on Gurley and look at how he breaks arm tackles at the line and is able to make moves to get free.....don't know if he is still the same after his injury, but the talent and vision is there. How many times have you looked back at a guy we could have drafted and then looked at the "safe pick" we went with? We always draft some average player who fits our need while some team after us pick a superstar and then you go back and wonder "Why didn't we draft that guy"? That is exactly what will happen if we reach for Kendricks or some CB who isn't Waynes. Sure, you will fill a need, but the guy isn't going to be amazing.

I'm not a big fan of drafting a RB in the first round, but Gurley is an elite talent. I wouldn't be against drafting him if he's medically ok. He has AP level talent.

the idea of Gurley if healthy is growing on me

We talk about the need for difference makers...todd gurley if healthy is absolutely that

Millers on a 4th round rookie contract miami has not committed themselves fully to him yet...just dont rule it out...all im saying

Pay attention to his pro day folks...the entire league will be

We are in that wheelhouse pick wise if he checks out

The 4 NFL Network commentators all have the Dolphins selecting a CB in their latest mock draft, with Marcus Peters the most popular pick.

The other thing about peters is 4.52 at the combine...i dont think 4.5s will validate top 15 add in the kicked off the team and i dont see it

That injury wasn't just a simple ankle sprain... It was pretty bad.

I just wonder with his running style if he'll last longer than 3 years with the beatings he'll get in the NFL.. Is he Brandon Jacobs?... Or is he Marshawn Lynch?

Well thats a chance you got to take or you dont...i know this for a big back that dudes got wheels...its ap like run away from you in the open field...he out runs angles...runs big too...runs angry

Make the oline look better than it is...like a lynch in that regard

Imagine 11 personnel where we spread you out and gurleys the back...i guarantee you that guy will get the oppositions attention and they will try to account for him...which means more good looks for others

Lamar miller doesnt give you that...hell 12 personnel same thing

If he shreds his pro day and hes medically a go for camp hes right in our wheelhouse...we are in a good spot
