I would like to see the following going fwd.
Re-sign Clay
Veteran WR like Greg Jennings
Back up QB: Matt Moore
Wide body veteran DT…there are still a slew out there that can come in and play in a rotational capacity. Great value play.
FS: Louis Delmas

My remaining needs by draft day would be OG, RB, MLB and CB (I cannot have enough CB's).

FYI, if I could get Clay back and get a solid WR in FA, I am not attacking that at all in the draft. IF no Clay, I would reassess my need at the receiver spot.

I thought I read that Delmas might not be ready for the regular season, would it be better just to move on?

Maybe, but I am a big Michael Thomas fan. I would give him a shot through the spring and training camp. I love the kid.

The team has to find answers in house.

I wonder if Charles Tillman could move to FS like Charles Woodson did. Smart player that is a playmaker.
 
Yeah the Dolphins are obviously in limbo until the whole Clay things goes down. Not a peep out of Miami the last 3 or 4 days. The Clay situation is what's holding up other moves. Imo!

I do not think there should be any limbo. They have more than enough cap room to find some bargains.

Yeah exactly you would think. Just strange how quiet things got. Something is going on. Like you said we have plenty of cap room to fill holes and get Clay. Just waiting for the bills to set the value on Clay maybe.
 
Wow Chris Borland retiring over health concerns.

Dude was a monster his rookie year, another huge loss for San Fran.

We have the cap space to pay Clay and pay some tier 2 FAs. I don't think Clay is holding up other moves. They are probably searching for good deals for the remainder of free agency since they spent quite a bit early on. You would think they bring in a veteran receiver before the draft. I don't see them going after another CB in free agency, though. Maybe they are even looking to bring back a few guys if the price is right (Moore, Delmas)

I could see first few rounds of the draft panning out like:

1st round : offensive playmaker, buzz worthy acquisition (Parker, maybe even trading up to #9 if need be to grab top 3 WR) or Gurley
2nd round: MLB or S
4th round (or maybe jump back into the third?) : CB.. rumor they were into Jacoby Glenn & Charles Gaines
