We are going to see more of it as the studies start bearing out that it doesn't need to be concussions that cause the brain issues, but that the years of consistent hits to or with the head, starting at Pop Warner and going through to a players days in the NFL, the head have cumulative, regardless of the severity of the hits. That's my understring of the direction that the research seems to be pointing in right now.

Really want him here. Our run d would be unstoppable, hes going to be a gem in FA.

I would've given Stevie that contract...too bad. Needed a vet with his skillset.

he is on the verge of becoming a very good player, we have so many DL he kind of got lost. Douzable is another FA that has been good for us too. Hopefully we get at least one of them back.

it will be interesting.... the head trauma stuff is scary. you never know. but Borland's decision is totally fine. if you are worried on it, there is nothing wrong with retiring. enjoy your life to the fullest!!!

RB Robert Smith pops in my head as a guy with a lot of talent who retired mad early so he would have his body in good condition to live with the rest of his life, for his family and all. he had a degree, and everything too. cant argue those decisions at all.

But I thought we wanted to use our 1st for a top WR?? Or I mean ILB? Or top CB? Problem is we can't draft great starting players in the 4-5 spots we need, so we have to either get a couple in FA or trade for someone.
