Official game day thread (GDT) St. Louis Rams @ Miami Dolphins. Go Phins!

Aikens has impressed me as well. Practice squad candidate.

Aiken, Hazel . . . these are guys we haven't seen much of, but they are draft picks. I got both guys making this team... Aiken was a 4th rounder, I don't think they cut him.

It reminds me of the timeout Sparano took in the Saints game right before halftime. Drives me nuts.

He did it on the Pats last drive that Thomas picked Brady, but understood that one because the D was a MASH unit. However, that Carolina had me lying on my floor in agony.

ugly pre-season win... I am scared for next week.

Dude. It was the 4th preseason game and our QB was Seth freaking Lobato. he's bad even by 3rd string QB standards.

Be scared for next week because it's the Patriots, not because we our 3rd team beat the Rams 3rd team by only one point.

Got kicked off his college team for disciplinary reasons.

I believe he was also kciked off his high school team, too? I read that somewhere, not sure if true.

Yes he was kicked off his HS and college team. Lots of off field issues are why he went undrafted. He also was kicked off of Cal's team in 2013, or prior to the season...so it's one of those out of sight out of mind deal.

funny Michael Sam was looking for somebody to hug and everybody ignored him walking off the field

Better to win ugly, than to lose ugly.
Take the win and prepare for the Brady bunch.
The roster decisions will be more exciting than this game.

Can you blame them?

i havent gotten to watch a snap of this but if i had to guess lobato has looked more cut worthy than p squad the depth dts and depth lbs have played poorly the depth tight ends havent shown much probably sums it up

i'm watching college football and it's a hard watch both the games for an opening night

Agreed, tonight's game and the Pats game couldn't possibly have less to do with one another.

What are you talking about? He didn't call a timeout in this situation vs the Panthers, I remember a lot of people criticized him not calling a timeout there. He did call a timeout in this situation vs the Steelers and we stopped them. And they were subtly different situations too.

He did call timeouts on the Panthers final drive but that was to stop the clock, which turned out to be a good thing because it gave us time to give Wallace a chance at the winning TD that went off his hands.

The Pat's are the reason I am scared.
And I know it is only pre-season playing with scrubs, but we could have fielded a better QB then that for Christ's sake.

Sam probably gets cut by St. Louis but only because they're deep on the D-line. He's shown enough to get picked up off waivers by somebody.
