I wanted Tua but that pick will haunt this franchise for years.

Herbert, Jefferson, Taylor.

Tua, Jackson, Igbinoghene.

Oh my. Loved the following draft but that **** is unforgivable and truly franchise crippling.
I can say with a straight face that Herbert is extremely overrated based on his inability to win the amount of games the production should suggest he's winning, but don't take that as any kind of ignoring of the fact that I'm one of the biggest critics of Miami's long-term strategy from 2019 on.

The fact that this team got rid of any pretension of an offensive line in order to, officially or unofficially, tank for a guy who was going to come from a team with the most lopsided talent-to-opponent ration in all of CFB - I mean you don't have to be that smart to see that putting a QB coming from Alabama on a team that had not a single returning linemen was one of the most foolish courses of action I could imagine. Never liked the Tunsil trade, never liked the obvious fixation on Tua, never liked the handling of Tua in 2020...a bigger detractor of the Jackson pick than most and everyone things Igby sucks.

Difference is I don't hold my disappointment at the organization's poor decisions against Tua, I don't have unrealistic expectations for what he can accomplish and don't blame him for every failing on a team that's had historically bad weaknesses and a defense that dominates 3rd stringers but fails to show up versus quality opponents.

True buuuut we've seen this story before. Dolphins look solid against poor teams and get exposed badly against good teams

I was like one of maybe three people on this site critical of the McDaniel hire. With that being said, halftime of the second game when the team is about to be 1-1 (with the win coming against the far more important opponent) is not the time to panic and bail out on this thing.

Damn this offense is literally priiiimed to be top 5. OL, RBS are actually solid, WRs are ridiculous.

It's like having a Ferrari with a Prius engine :(

The whole time I can't help but thinking/dreaming could have gotten Justin Herbert. But, who am I kidding - he might suck here too....maybe the Dolphins have become what Cleveland used to be known as: "where QB's go to die"

How can there immediately be 4 Ravens defenders on a misdirection play?

Does our offensive line exist?
