Halftime Thoughts:
  • In a game of Back-Ups, we’re getting ruined in the trenches. We picked it up late in the 2nd
  • Noah Iggy is NOT an NFL caliber player. Period.
  • Jason Sanders is in Mid-Season form
  • Thompson is a keeper so far
  • Nasty move by Bowden for the TD
  • Our ST’s look good. Good coverage.
  • I like Gustin’s game. He is at least a Practice Squad guy.
  • Gotta like Tanner Conner so far

I’d add Campbell has a nose for the ball and looks the part.

I'm happy to see a rookie QB see the blown coverage and hit the guy downfield. At the same time, in preseason I've seen Bridgewater drop balls to covered guys in stride downfield on perfect throws in preseason (on other teams).

I like the way Thompson is playing, I see a guy playing similar to the way guys like Case Keenum and Trevor Simian played when trying to stake their claim. But Bridgewater is a good qb even if he's not great.

I think it is a possibility they keep Thompson on the final 53 because they don’t want to chance losing him if they waive him. Yet I still think they will go with Bridgewater as the backup with the hope that Thompson is ready to take over the backup role in 2023.

Noah needs to go. He’s a liability and waste of a 1st round pick
 
Yeah I've learned absolutely nothing about our roster in that half. I'm sure though our coaches have, that's what they are getting paid for. Just great to have football back :)

It’s so funny that outside 2 super bowl seasons tampa is well below .500 as a franchise. They were freaking out that they were about to be irrelevant again when Brady retired briefly lol

Would add Tindall starting to show some pressure on the QB.
