You aren't going to fully replace the two JJs, Redwine, Michael Jackson and Willis in one off-season...but these transfers are certainly huge and going to help the transition. Really liking the safety from USC. Brevin Jordan just keeps on giving.

That's why it was so important all the linebackers came back for stability. We will be starting 2 new safetys and 2 new DT's. The experienced transfers were a must.

This offseason has been a roller coaster ride. In a span of one month we went from a disappointing season ending, losing Diaz, a HC who looked beaten retiring to Diaz coming back and bringing oure excitement back and getting talent back through transfers we have lost out on in the last two years in recruiting.

The turnover chain would have lost some of its appeal with Diaz gone and our future looked very bleak. Now?

I criticised the athletic department and their decisions often enough but I have to give them credit for latching onto Diaz immediately after Richt quit. Diaz is by far the most exciting HC we have had in a long time.

Hell yea phins. If Richt would have stayed the talk here would have been all negative for the next 6 months instead of exciting and positive like it is now.

I haven’t been keeping up, but how many more transfer portal kids has the U picked up?

DT Harrison-Hunte commits to the U

Of note, Harrison-Hunte is the third New Yorker in the 2019 class after UM started prioritizing the state late in the cycle, and Miami now has 3 of the top 6 players in New York in this class according to the 247Composite. The others are Blissett and Harrison-Hunte’s teammate at Christ the King, 3-star OT Adam ElGammal.
