LOL @ 17 turnovers with 14:00+ to play in the game.

Baseball season is just around the corner but our offense is very weak. Pitching staff is going to need to be damn near perfect. ACC is tough this season.

Pitching shouldn't be a problem. Too bad we couldn't have the offense we had a few years back. Put those two together and we would have a nasty team.

Yeah, that first half was probably the sloppiest 1st half I've seen in I'm not sure how long, well, since the UMD game probably.

I'm worried about all the freshman that the Canes are projected to play especially the shortstop position. If we can pitch and play defense, I think we'll still have a chance at the ACC and getting to Omaha. We just gotta score some runs somehow.

Georgia Tech, Florida State, and North Carolina are just too good for us to be playing small ball with. Those dudes are national title contenders carrying big sticks. I think we're in some trouble.

I'm not really sold on GT or Carolina...didn't the Tar Heels graduate a lot of talent? What about Virginia? I would think they're pretty good if they have a top 5 preseason ranking. The thing about teams with big bats is that they can get cold just as they get hot. I think that Miami's lineup from two years ago in Omaha could be proof of that. And that lineup was sick.

That Miami team is the greatest college baseball team to never win it all. Very disappointing end to the season.

I couldn't believe when we pissed it away against Georgia I think it was. We'd have beaten Fresno State, no question.

Georgia beat us. Josh Fields and Gordon Beckham were on that team. We had to play Arizona to get there I believe. Goddamn Ryan Perry was unhittable it seemed.

Yeah. That CWS sucked other than watching Fresno win it all over UNC I think.

Just a kick in the nuts, especially knowing that we could have gotten all the way to the title game and won it.

Absolutely. I taped the Stanford and the Georgia game from that Series so basically I got the two losses lol. I still remember watching Alonso's bomb against Arizona...I think that one's still going. My favorite player to watch on that team was Jemile Weeks.

Standford. That's it. That's the other team we played. We played Arizona in Miami during the Super Regional.

Loved Jemile but these days I'm a big fan of Scott Lawson.

I haven't seen Lawson...it's tough to get Canes baseball up here in Indiana. For some reason we get a lot of FSU games on the Sunshine network. The only game I saw last year was a couple of innings of us getting dominated by Duke(I think) in the ACC tournament.
