Local radio station in Boston ripping on Bill Belichick for flying down early and practicing on a field not even designed for football.

Pretty funny stuff

What would you rather see, guys?

Tua throw for +300 or RBs run for +200?
I would rather see the running backs run for 200 yards. That would mean the OL is controlling the LOS and allowing the defense to get plenty of rest on the sidelines.

If they are running for 200 yards, Tua will also have plenty of time to pass when it is necessary. The play action pass works great when the defense is worried about the running game.

Calling the first offensive play:

Line up 11 personnel. Smythe motions into the backfield. Pats show a loaded front. They run play action. Hill goes the deep post and Waddle an out route. Wilson runs slant is wide open in the middle. Gets the catch for an easy 15 years.
HAND IT TO INGOLD RIGHT UP THE GUNT!

final thoughts - belichick will make the game as messy as he can, and i see a weakness as i'm sure he does with our online vs their d line. i think the pats will do a good job stuffing our run game in the first half before they start to wear down a little in the heat. pats will try to play ball control and run with a rotation of backs.

first half pats up 14 - 7. fins pull away in the end. final score 24-20 good guys.

So their hotel is on PGA Boulevard? Nice hour and a half drive down before the game! That’s really nuts. We should be grateful that area high schools didn’t accommodate them!

While running for a lot of yards is an attractive goal, I'd rather see that Edmonds had 100 yards receiving than 100 yards rushing.
That would likely mean our offense was clicking, rather than we were just exploiting one or two of their defensive linemen.

I want to see receptions, neatly divided, between about 5 players. That would be smart football... and it would scare people.
