Unless Rosen puts up a Goff-like year, I think its clear that they are still in for a 2020 1st round qb. This seems like a value thing where they will test him out for a year and see if it hits, if not you still have a good backup who could be traded for a pick down the road.
A QB is one of the safest investments you can make because they retain their trade value much more than other positions.
I dont see 1 year being enough time to evaluate the kid when we dont have an oline.
IMO, they need to roll the 2020 picks into 2021 and plan for Trevor Lawrence.
Hopefully they can salvage a starter or 2 out of what is left in this draft.
Loved the Wilkins pick last night, but now that we took Rosen, it should have been Oline.
