Miami: The Dolphins’ defensive line, led by Pro Bowler Ndamukong Suh, against Washington’s shaky offensive line is one of the NFL’s biggest mismatches in Week 1. Washington: Washington has a young right side of the line facing a potentially dominant one in Miami. Not a good way to open the season, but keep in mind that Cousins has been sacked only 16 times in 427 career drop-backs. Another thing to know: Miami ranked next to last in yards allowed per play-action pass (9.30) while Cousins averaged 14.72 yards on such plays a year ago, tops in the NFL for quarterback with at least 38 play-action drop-backs. Miami takes care of business in its quest for its first playoff berth -- and first winning season -- since 2008. Chad Pennington was the Dolphins' quarterback then -- a solid player who, due to shoulder injuries, never became an elite player. Ryan Tannehill looks to vault into that latter category this season. If he does, it starts opening day, with Jarvis Landry catching eight balls. Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins will fare much better than people think, but that Redskins O-line is at a disadvantage at just about every spot versus this Dolphins front. Pete Prisco says 28-17 Miami.

The Redskins will start Kirk Cousins against that tough Miami front. The Redskins had pass-protection issues in the preseason, and that will show up against Cameron Wake, Ndamukong Suh and company. The Dolphins open with a road victory.
