SO the Landscape as I see it.

Based on what most fans are screaming about seems like LBer, OT, WR are the fans perceived needs. So with that Said here are some names STILL our there and why no one IMO should be melting down.

LBer
Leighton Vander Esch
Nick Kwiatkoski
Bobby Wagner - Best Available (but older)
AJ Klein (little exposed athletically in coverage vs TEs fine against RBs in coverage)

OT (Getting thin this might be a Trade or Draft area at this point)
Trent Brown
Daryl Willaims (a little flawed athetically)
Terron Armstead
Bryan Bulaga
Duane Brown (probably done)

WR
Ju Ju Smith Schuster
Demarcus Robinson
Allen Robinson
Jamison Crowder
Byron Pringle
Jarvis Landry
Beckham Jr
Julio Jones
AJ Green (could do wonders for a WR that is Younger side teaching how to be a pro and take care of body and such and still productive)
Agree, not much at tackle. Most of the players talked about pre free agency didn't actually make it there.

Based on the moves made so far, I give Chris Grier a gentleman's C. As with past seasons, we're signing a bunch of free agents on 1-year deals or deals from which we can escape quickly and relatively painlessly. But unless Connor Williams can stick at LT and we either trade for La'el Collins or sign a top-shelf RT, it's hard to see where this team has upgraded at any position group aside from backup QB.
Don't forget that Ogbah, Gesicki and Needham count.

Here’s Grier’s answer in its entirety when asked about the O-line, there’s a bit more to it than Barry Jackson quoted

”…We’ve invested in it,” Grier said. “Draft picks. Those guys need to play better. They understand that.”

Grier said the new coaching staff is “excited” about the “upside” in the young linemen.

“We’ve just got to find a way to unlock it,” he said…”

If the new staff tells him they can make it happen with the current players, you can’t really blame Grier, imo
I understand that. I figured something was going on with the coaching staffs evaluation of the offensive line. It looks like it has played a big part in why, Miami didn't come out swinging in their pursuit of linemen?

That article was from weeks ago. I would love for someone to talk to him now

Exactly. Like I said Grier is doing all this with coaches in his ear.

Hopefully Collins likes Miami and decides to sign a contract, if the Dolphins offer one to his liking?

Very nice of Chris Grier to get out in front of this, with his own statement hinting we might not need better players on the OL. That should soften the blow for us on this forum when we don't sign him 😂
If Collins is choosing teams, and money is similar. I'm going to guess he'll want to go play for the Bengals.
