They would take a substantial hit becuse nobody is that dumb to take it over, but at this point, he’s bogging down the offense.

I am waiting on all of the posters to tell us to relax and not worry that there are still plenty of OT's out there when this guy could have been had on the cheap, just like Grier likes it. This is the end of the week and still no OT, I guess Fisher, the two Browns and Armstead are still out there but if we don't get one of them you better get used to seeing Teddy B. taking snaps, because our 6'0 220 lb. QB will be in traction.

After those the best FA OTs are signed by other teams, the posters you spoke of will advise you to wait for the draft. After the draft, they'll suggest you wait until after June 6th. After June 6th, they'll say to just wait and see how training camp plays out. After a few games into the season, they'll say just give the line more time to gel. Rinse and repeat.
 
Even if Grier ends up being correct and the O-line gets fixed from coaching alone, it's going to take until September to see that. It's going to be a **** storm for months. There's no reason to trust Grier. He's been here for 20 years with nothing to show for it. I'm not one of those sky is falling, make 100 threads people. But a lot of people have legitimate reason to be upset or at least untrusting of Grier. Putting blind faith in them is just as bad as the overly whiny people.
