And why they will grab a QB in the draft. Just another hole filled on likely that veteran exemption that allows for a deal to count for only 890K against the cap. But player can be paid his vet Min 1.1M for Barkely and another 135K per game in bonuses so another 2.2M. So total cash 3.3M. And counts at a 890K cap hit.

Sounds like a lot of gibberish for I don’t have a legit back up and we’re ****ed if our Qb goes down

The key to the BU was finding a cheap contract. That is all. And it still may not even be Barkley it just seems that way right now.

That’s really not a good strategy for a team competing for a champ

So finding some cheap Qb to Play backup is not a sound philosophy imo
