Honestly, outside the penalties and terrible protection, it does. Williams and Drake catch even the difficult passes and have kept the drives going. If Ajayi was on the field, those plays would not have happened -- we'd have to get lucky on his home-run outside run to get something.

As crazy as it sounds, this loss is on the defense.

16 points scored against one of the worst defenses in the league. Had plenty of chances to score but the offense played like garbage as they have all year. The defense wasn't good but the offense should have easily scored over 30 tonight, This offense and Gase have no excuses. Season is over mainly because this offense is a complete joke and Gase is a fraud as an offensive coordinator. This is the same garbage Raiders team that the Bills destroyed 34-14 last week. This disgrace of an offence for the Dolphins has scored only 16 points in over 7 quarters. No this loss is not on the defense. This loss is on the entire team but mainly on the garbage offense that has been an embarrassment all year.
