It's natural for a new guy to tend to go to the best offensive weapon a lot. That'll change when he gets more experience.

If you look at the overhead they replayed after the break you see the coverage lean toward Chambers route beside the Mcmichael route. I believe the look he gave Chambers opened the pass to Mcmichael.
