I highlighted players we were interested in signing..

In hindsight, do any you believe it would have been a good idea to sign any of these players to these contracts?

The only two in the top 5 that should be there are Peyton and LT. And boy is Peyton cleaning up.

based in what each player did for his team......LT is the only player worth his contract. I would have included Peyton but considering that he made twice what the next player made, he's in no way worth that much....especially when you consider he hasn't won a conference title yet.

Winstrom qualifies for the most overpayed (manning second). The one redeeming quality for Winstrom is that he actually gave part of his salary back to the team since he got hurt right after signing it. I don't have the exact amount but he kept the signing bonus (naturally :) ) and gave a portion of his yearly salary back.

That is their wage last year rather than their cap number and in many cases is more signing bonus than base salary.

Man, we have to pay Brown at least as much as Gallery, the # 25 player on the list, as they were both the number 2 picks in their respective drafts. If this chart stays the same, Brown will be the number 3 paid pack in the entire league, behind only LT and Portis. He better tear it up.

Yes, these were all their salaries for LAST year.. I wonder how many of those contracts were front loaded though.. It would be interesting to see their full contracts.. Regardless, some of the people on that list, including Ogunleye werent worthy of that contract.. What did Ogun have without Taylor? 5 sacks? Id rather have Booker and Gordon than have Ogun and his excessive contract.

Eli didnt make this list, so it depends on how his contract is structured.. but yes, Ronnie will be a VERY well paid back. He better produce.

Are the redskins like the Yankees with no salary cap. Have you seen how many redskins players on that list that are making 10 million or more.
