Ok, hold up, wait a minute.....

It's a c

It's funny how the giants WON the super bowl past year and the jets went 8-8 and the jets have been getting 1000x more press than the giants. They did win the super bowl last year right?

When they "won" the SB, it was coming up thru a diluted, 2nd tier talent pre-merger AFL.

. and considering the entire post season was 2 whole games long, a case can be made that this wasn't even a real SuperBowl.

I said the best guy, someone who can run and throw. Ronnie did a good job of it in 2008 and 2009 but he's not Tebow in the WC.

NYJUNC is to WILDCAT KNOWLEDGE as ANY KARDASHIAN is to NUCLEAR PHYSICS.

I'm looking forward to Olivier Vernon tearing Tebow's head off and sticking his arm down his neck to pull out his beating heart.

I really wish you would keep your dolphins comments to yourself. You CLEARLY have no idea what you are talking about and it makes you just look, well you...

White was drafted in 2009. Parcells ran the 2008 and 2009 drafts. This is the where the credits go (and this is fact that is undisputable)

2008 - 100% Parcells
2009 - 75% Parcells, 25% Ireland
2010 - 50% Parcells, 50% Ireland
2011 - 100% Ireland

Parcells even ADMITTED Pat Wht was the wrong pick. Why would he admit something that he had no hand in - according to your dilusions.

if BP ran the drafts why was it 75-25 w/ ireland? You are contradicting yourself all over this post. Plenty of Gms have come in and won in year 1- our GM did it but the first year of total contro for Ireland you got worse.

I guess that would depend on how many of those turnovers came when the Jets were given the ball in opp territory. Either way, it doesn't matter when you are judging an offense. The Jets O had little to do with the starts in opp territory, but had everything to do with the turnovers. To me, 9 more turnovers with 6 more starts in opp territory (3 more in the RZ) negates the Jets +1.3PPG advantage over the Dolphins. How many points off of turnovers did the Jets give up? I don't know how the stats ended up, but I thought they were leading the league at one point.

I'm not sure, we turned it over a lot and saw opposing D's score more than I have ever seen in one season but I don't know the final #s leaguewide.

Either way the Jets O scored more than Miami's and considering you have a better O and D that's syaing something, right?

No, more giveaways makes your offense worse obviously!

Ok, so despite more TOs we still scored more. Isn't that amazing?

yeah they only had to beat what was considered one of the greatest teams of all time in the SB and become the first AFL team to win a SB but it was cake.

You even make excuses about the '68 Jets? do you bring up the fact that no SB champ ever faced an easier sched than the '72 dolphins? just wondering.

Notice how he failed to respond to your question about the defense? Proves my point.

He still hasn't responded to the question. His own logic (or lack there of) would confirm to the rest of us his lack of comprehension. Don't worry though. The rest of us know and so does he.

If he says that, according to PPG, the jests offense was superioir to Miami, then obviously, according to PPG, Miami was better on defense then the jests.

Two words tell the whole story when it comes to the New York Jets................................Tony Sparano.............how sweet is that?

Ronnie has attempted 12 passes in his career, all out of trick play formations. To say he is a better passer is silly.

Tebow is better when he ruins the ball but he's actually a threat to pass unlike Ronnie.

Yes, Tebow is better when he ruins the ball. I couldn't have said it better myself!

so your saying tebow will run the WC better then Brown??? tebow is ok, but hes gonna get crushed running the WC after just 3 games yet alone 2 seasons worth.

I have responded to that many times, maybe not in this thread as I didn't see it but your D was awful when games mattered and played well when they didn't. That doesn't impress me, our D wasn't very good so if you want to say your no pressure D was better go ahead. Isn't it amazing how you had a better O and D yet finished 2 games behind us?

Tebow isn't the injury plagued player Ronnie brown has been and tebow ran it over 100 times last year. I'm not worried about his durability, a freak injury can happen any time but he's a big, durable guy.

yep, addition bu subtraction sort of like last year after you get rid of Dan henning, right? I love the never ending excuses.

I've only skimmed this thread but if I gather the context right the raging debate is the Sanchez/ Tebow thing in NY and whether or not Tebow is hurting the Jets or helping them.

Well the only things I have to say about the topic of Teblows is like this, if Sanchez loses his position as starter to Tebow (he will not by the way) the Jets have bigger problems because Tebow is a horrible QB, just the fact of the matter. John Elway knows that in order to get the most out of Tebow they had to gimmick their way to an offense that was not sustainable in the NFL, hence the arrival of Mr.18.

The Jets on the other hand have uses the Wildcat more effectually than the Dolphins and to think Tebow isn't the perfect player to execute that formation is asinine. He is a much better candidate than someone like Ronnie Brown who is solely a RB. Tebow adds a dimension to the Jets offense that you must prepare for, it is the same philosophy that Miami used with the implementation of the Wildcat and so many Miami fans applauded that approach and now critize the Jets for trying to improve it. If Tebow doesn't make the Jets roster what does it hurt other than the chance that Tebow plays anywhere else in the NFL again and if Tebow starts that means bigger problems for Jets fans, that means two things 1) Sanchez is injured or 2) he isn't the franchise QB they think he is.

You will be impressed this year!! And no more about meaningless games and pressure please thats just not a viable excuse and I think you know that!!
