Miami was out of the playoff race by mid october, they had no playoff pressure at any point. Isn't it amazing how the D all of a sudden started playing well when the season was lost?

we got beat by a stronger defense? we beat ourselves that game, we moved the ball all game and we made mistakes- unforced errors and had we won we wouldn't have made the playoffs so we didn't have everything to play for.

...but but but, on the other hand, the jest were playing meaningful games but went 4-5 against teams with less than a .350 cum 2011 winning percentage and outscored their opponents by all of 5 whole pts, with the death stroke artfully applied by our very own "meaningless" Fins . Which is worse?


I'll tell ya! The Fins were not considered a threat; there were no illusions about their shortcomings.


On the other hand, a fat foot perv who pimped out his wife was promising a superbowl when the reality was his team had 1 legitimate winning season out of the last 2. The reality that that team was revealed for the mediocre one they are, and played down to their abilities was worse than a team that also played teams who were trying to win and using players who were fighting for their professional lives.


Oh the games the Fins played were "meaningless" yet in 09, playing against 2 teams in games 15 and 16, after losing a game that was meaningless to dead team walking Atlanta in game 14 where the only meaning for the Colts and Bengals was to keep their players healthy was not eh? LOLOL! The jest, who were 7-7, beat teams with barely a .300 winning percentage including losing 6 out of 7 before playing 2 teams that didn't care are worthy of praise, but the second half Fins performance was not?
