OK, So Which QB Do We Draft in 2006?

Depending on our record we will probably get Leineart, I don't see what other teams could need a qb like we do.San Fran got Smith, Browns got Frye, Bears have Rex and Orton, and there is Tampa Bay who dosen't look like they are going to have a crappy season as of yet. Arizona dosen't look like they will be bad either so they won't be bad enough so that they can get LEinert.

I don't know if Cleveland would pass on Leinart, but other than them I don't know who else could possibly take a QB, maybe Arizona if they flop but I think they'll be better. A name that has not been mentioned is Brad Smith who was over-hyped before last season, but had a bad year, if he plays well again he could be a guy who moves up like Alex Smith did.

I think Cleveland is in a solid position in the future at the QB position. They have two young guys with good physical skills in Frye and Harris and they have Dilfer to hold it over for the time being.

I really like Brad Smith, he is very comparable to McNabb, exp. if he has a solid senior season like I expect from him. He has a very strong arm and is a hell of an athlete.

we could just bring back fiedler " just kidding"

I know two really good qbs that will be nfl types but they wont graduate until 2007 big BOBBY REID 6'5 230LB AND HE HAS A STRONG ARM and he can run a 4:43 i would recommend brad smith from missouri but coach pinkle kind of ruined him , thus jerking brad around.:cooldude:

You guys need ti chill and wait and see how AJ develops.

If not then Charlie Whitehurst is the sort of player than can have an Alex Smith type rise to the 1st round.

Exactly! ^

I watch Clemson play a lot because I follow Duane Coleman. Charlie looked really good, but last year he hit a huge slump. I hope he has a huge turn around this year.

For all of you who think the 2006 QB draft is SO much better than this "thin" one, who thought we had "so many other needs" and just couldn't STAND the thought of us "WASTING" a pick on QB this year, tell us now...

WHO SHOULD WE PICK IN 2006? Who is gonna be our next Franchise QB?

COME ON! GIVE US A NAME! Let's hear it! Who?

Anyone who says "Leinart" is disqualified because he will be the #1 pick and we won't get him.

COME ON! NAME please?

I don't know, which College QB will be a good backup to Feeley?
