Olbermann: Dolphins facing Saints like punishment

I seriously doubt the Dolphins will face Saints like punishment. And Pouncey and Tannehill being suspended? What on earth would lead you to that conclusion? So far, accusations have only been leveled against Richie. Now there are reports that the coaching staff may have told Richie to get Martin into OTAs. I'm sorry, I don't see Goodell going nuclear on the franchise for this.

Who is this Olbermann person, and I seriously doubt it.
 
I'm trying not to be completely naive about all this. But does anyone really think Tannehill would be punished or would participate in this type of stuff? He seems like the kinda guy whose a good dude, head on straight.
 
If we get hit harder penalty wise than the pats or saints who actually did something wrong, I will wish Goodell a long and painful death.

The only people who are going to burn because of this are Richie, maybe Jim Turner, maybe Jeff Ireland, and Maybe Joe Philbin, possibly some other guys you've never heard of in the front office or on the offensive coaching staff.

They aren't going to suspend Cam effing Wake or some other crap, I don't know where people come up with this stuff.

At this point my biggest concern is draft picks. If Ireland and Philbin have to be sacrificed but we don't lose draft picks, so be it. The draft picks are the biggest thing going forward.

I figured as much. Its hard to sift through the real news and the wild acquisitions/guesses from fans as this story is so fluid.
 
Tannehill suspended for bullying a cornfed after taking 32 sacks would make him an instant legend and a heroic figure in the NFL.

I doubt they will punish the franchise if it turns out that this all came from the top. Because everyone will be fired at that point.

But yeah, I suppose Roger Goodell could go into tinpot dictator mode.
 
This is getting to funny. You have some kid who will not even speak up for himself but in doing so ends up torturing his entire team to the point that they are being painted with teams that willfully tried to physically harm other players the Saints and to a team of cheats and liars who did whatever it took to win in the Pats.
 
Why would Ireland be punished? What did he do? Really curious
